Wanting to do my own tribute to a blower Bentley 8, I struggled with getting "new" out of the essence of the vintage, tall, high riding platform. Finally deciding to abandon tall wheels was the aha moment that broke my thumbnail quagmire (at least 30 dead-end sketch directions.) Smooshing the tapering nose volume to nearly two dimensional proportions and running it through the Ed Newton filter made it gel.
