Astrosub 2

I've been going through old sketches and finding some decent line drawings that need some color. The aquatic lighting viscom was a new challenge that was fun to explore. Surfaces act optically very differently underwater. Things essentially become matte in general. Had good reference of a deep sea sub where the lighting illuminated the nearby water with an ethereal glow which I wanted to incorporate. Also, another opportunity to use some of my alchohol dyes on plastic texture scans for the otherwordly alien ocean imagery.
