25M Courager Fixed Bed Four by Four (Base Model)

Concept direction came from observing the rough looking shipping containers on the backs of trucks while I was on a road trip. Mixing the corrugated metal aesthetic with automotive fuller surfaces and speculating what a somewhat ridiculous sized consumer 5 ton truck could look like. I sketched some ideas a couple of years ago, including some marker roughs for a dual axle version. Recently, I came across the old sketches and put them up for a vote along with a garbage truck on my Instagram account. People overwhelmingly selected the truck. Using the color combination of a 1960s car brochure gave me color direction that I would not have normally chosen myself.
