At this stage, more fluid surfacing, with the intent of emulating the rounded fuselage of an older design, the Lotus 97T with boxy flanking bits. Visualizing mentally as sketched, black reflecting blue, with a sweeping band of gold trim.

Moving onto align with later carbon chassis McLaren, in white and day-glo red. Lower, sharper, more distinctly chopper-esque stretched out front wheel.

Final illo, highlighting a more painterly style. Mentally, I'm going back to Tim Prentice's marker illustration of a McLaren concept from many many years ago that stuck in my brain for the clever use of purple color of red in shadow.
